In a low-scoring contest this weekend, the Denver Broncos clinched a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter scoring strike and specialist Wil Lutz provided the game-winning go-ahead field goal to seal the ugly win.

Dominant Performance Seals Contest

Even with registering nine sacks against Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 after giving up a safety in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 offensive yards throughout the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's short field goal with approximately five minutes left.
